For those who told me u can't bake
Kulchas with out oven....๐... I simply noe one thing which I mostly repeat that cooking needs patience, balance,&Lille bit of physics &chemistry which holds all the ingredients together....
Kulcha is just soft crumbled dough kneaded with ghee and baked evenly with luv...that too in a simple utensils for 30-35 mint.
(Simply a convection mode; in which no direct contact of heat take place: convection is a mode of heat transfer by the mass motion of a fluid such as air. Heat convection occurs to the surface of an object where the surrounding fluid of object is heated and moved energy away from the source of heat...) So why to depend on sofisticated heat appliances when u can create it of its own... So hr I present
No oven baked kulchas
Ingredients: maida 2cup
Ghee ..1/2 cup
Salt 1 teaspoon
Baking soda.1 tea spoon
Sesmi seeds/poppy seeds / almond /elachi for garnish.
Method
Put maids in a flat bottom bowl ,add salt, baking soda nd mix it ,then add warm ghee in to it nd mix it with ur hands u will get a crumbled like consistency..add 2table spoon of water... Nd mix it with ur finger tips..
Note( we don't need to knead it like adough but crumb like texture) slowly mix it and again till ghee &water mix together now make small rough balls ..nd make a #payda of one by 2. (By placing 1dough balls on another) .then wait for 1 minute then press the balls with the areas near ur thumb ..and flatten the edges...with palm of ur hands ,with two fingers flatten the center of the dough nd with the help of fork make Lille cuts at the edges to make it more beautiful
Then place it on the try nd out little water on surface of kukchas so that garnishing items stick to top of kulchas... Then place the try or baking bowl inside the #cooker, bounton#or utensil in which convection mode is possible nd place it on low to medium heat either on heater or gas..nd let it bake for 30-35 mint.so that it is evenly baked on all sides.
( I made use of cooker type vessel which has double utensil inside) nd which heats evenly from all sides nd on heater)
So stay at home# learn physics#apply to ur daily kitchen hacks.....luv u
