Ingredients

1.lotus stem(medium size8-10)

2.egg (1)

3.green chilli

4.ginger garlic paste

5.cumin powder

6.red chilli powder

7.salt to taste

Preparation

1.clean the lotus stem carefully and remove all the mud inside it.

2.now charred it on high flame till the outer covering  turns black,but don't over burn it.

3 then place in cold water for 5-10mints and then peel off the outer burned layer.

4.then either use motar pistal  or mixi and add lotus stem,chilli powder ,ginger garlic paste,zeera ,salt & chopped green chilli & egg to it,&mix it well.how much thick u want it depend how much u grind it, then make cutlets and shallow fry it on slow heat.

5.when the cutlets turns dark brown on one side flip it on other side..till u get nice crispy cutlet..

6.now serve it with sauce or cucumber carrot salad!
